Do you want to race in fast karts, but don't own your own? Are you at least 14 years of age?
Then the 2 hour endurance races at Kartcentrum Lelystad are perfect for you! You and your team will compete against other teams from the Netherlands and beyond. Ofcourse it's nice to win, but don't forget, we drive for FUN.
In order to enter this race you have to find at least 2 and max. 4 teammates (including yourself), and enter through the window below. The entry fee is per team, so costs can be shared among teammates.
On track you can follow the current positions of the race using the big LED scoreboard in the middle of the track. Use this as teammates, to your advantage to plan your pitstops wisely. In the last 45 to 30 minutes of the race the pitstreet will be open for fueling, this window is only 15 minutes long and there will be only 2 lanes open for fueling, make sure you send your teammate in for fueling or you won't make it to the end of the race. The trick is to do this strategically so you won't end up in traffic in the pitlane.
The race wil be driven with the RT8 Adult karts with a top speed of 85km/h. Fitted with a 13 horsepower 390cc Honda engine. Max number of teams is 24, max number of teammates is 4 (want more teammates per team? let us know, we will see what we can do).
This race is perfect for people that have at least some experience karting, but don't own their own. You don't have to bring anything other than yourself and your mates, we provide helmets and jackets if necessary (own helmet is allowed) and in case you need one of ours, a balaclava is mandatory and can be bought at the bar for only €1 per piece.

Here's what you need to know
- 01Register for the competition with at least one teammate
- 02Report to the bar at the venue, 30 minutes in advance so we know you will be there
- 03Pick out a helmet and jacket in advance if you don't have your own.
- 04Be present at the briefing, which takes place in the briefing room
- 05Qualifying gets started, it lasts 15 minutes. The goal is to drive a lap as fast as possible (pit stop allowed)
- 06After qualifying, we will form the starting grid ( following the qualifying results )
- 07The race kicks off!
- 082 hours of racing; where it is mandatory to make a minimum of 5 pit stops (more is allowed, less isn't)
- 09The team who drove the most laps after 2 hours wins! Of course, there will be an award ceremony on the podium.
