Do you want to get better at karting? Then join the karting school

THESE COURSES ARE SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN FROM 7 YEARS AND 130 CM.

The basis of motorsport is karting. Almost all Formula 1 drivers started with karting. And to help you further in karting, we at Kartcentrum Lelystad have specially established a kart school.

How does it work?
You are not tied to anything and you can sign up for each lesson. A lesson takes about an hour and a half, of which you drive for about 50 minutes. The rest of the time another group is driving and you get theoretical explanations. You can also learn a lot from watching other drivers closely. The track time is divided differently and is scheduled each day by the instructor.

The cost per lesson is €37.50. Payment can be made on site by pin or cash.

What karts will be used?
The karts used are the RT8 karts (minimum length 155cm) and the children's karts (minimum length 130cm). The kart school is run exclusively with rental karts. Please pay attention to the length when you sign up for a group, the number of kids karts is limited.

Who teaches?
Kartcenterum Lelystad has partnered with KWM Racing. KWM Racing, led by Mathieu van Renssen has years of experience in coaching racing talents and giving karting lessons. The big advantage for the drivers of the kartschool is that there is an extensive follow-up program ready to continue in karting. Of course it does not oblige you to anything, but it is nice that the choice is there.
